Manuel Pérez Clemente, better known as Sanjulián, was born in Barcelona in 1941 where he attended one of the most prestigious art schools in Spain, l’Academia de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi. He started working for Selecciones Ilustradas when he was 20 and then for a multitude of American clients in the early 70s. While he is known for his fantastic work for movie studios and the advertisement industry, he’s recognized to this day for his Warren covers on such magazines as Creepy, Eerie and Vampirella.
